My name is Yan Zhuang, I also go by Frank. I was born and raised in Shanghai, China, a city with almost 27 million people. For secondary study, I was lucky to be admitted in Shanghai United Int'l School (BC Department) where I studied under the curriculum designed by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. I obtained my secondary diploma (Also known as Dogwood diploma) in August 2019

I am currently a second year student in Université de Montréal, in the Department of Computer Science and Operational Research (DIRO). I am mainly interested in Software Engineering and Bioinformatics (with a focus on cancerology studies), these two will be the main fields that I will pursue.

As a polygot, I am fully trilingual with Mandarin being my native language (Growing up in Shanghai, I am also able to understand Shanghainese), English and French being my second and third languague respectively. Besides these three languages, I have conversational level of Spanish and currently learning Portuguese.

Besides being busy with coding projects, during my free time, I also enjoying watching movies. I regard the 80s as my favourite movie period, where we got ourselves several classiques that people still watch these days such as "Top Gun", "Ghostbuster", "Karate Kids" and more.
